Brian-Random Facts About a Random Guy:

My biggest pet peeve right now is that every episode of Transformers is not out on DVD.  When I walk around the DVD store and see every episode of every awful 80s TV show on DVD, but NO TRANSFORMERS, I get depressed and irritable. No one watched Scarecrow and Ms. King 20 years ago; I can not believe people are watching it now. 

• I have a peculiar affinity for wood paneled vehicles. At one point in my childhood, both parents drove woody station wagons (dad had an 89 Pontiac 6000 woodywagon, mom an 87 Olds Cutlass Cruiser woodywagon). I did, in fact, have my senior picture taken with the 87. And I wonder why I got no action in high school….
• My entire 13 year radio career has been spent working rock formats except for a verrrry long 3 months at a Spice Girl Backstreet Boy playing station…those were dark times, and not just because I was on overnights and never saw the sun. 
• It is my rock solid belief that Star Trek and Star Wars can be related to almost anything. This belief almost got me kicked out of some college classes, as my professors thought my need to quote Trek or Star Wars in every paper was immature. So sue me for taking some piece of literature written by a 3000 year old dead guy and making it relatable J And I wonder why I got no action in college….
• I lived in Montana for a while; not the ugly eastern part but the really nice looking western part. I decided to move to Fargo to 1.) Keep doing radio and 2.) Go to grad school at NDSU. I spend most of my nights reading academic journals full of information no one out side of academia would ever find interesting. And I wonder why I get no action in grad school…..
• I’m sensing a theme here.
• Seriously, I like Fargo thus far. 95% of my family lives in Minnesota, and my grandfolks have had a cabin way up nordth in Minnesota since the early 60s, so having access to that is cool. I still dig loud concerts and loud bands, though I don’t find my way to the pit like I did back in the day.
• Beer is good.
• Jager only happens when I’ve had a really bad day.
