Informal meeting with homeowners living outside of Tract 2 (The water and Sewer District), and homeowners living outside of the three emergency levees to discuss flood fighting concerns, plans and options. We will have maps available for the planning process.
It would help if you could bring any pictures you have of the 2009 flood so they can get a better understanding of the water levels and issues in your area. They will have a computer available if you wish to bring digital pictures. They will also discuss access options to these areas to give us a better idea of what areas become inaccessible at different river levels. This information will be forwarded to the Sheriffs Department for their planning purposes. The meetings will be limited only to properties not included in the three emergency levees.
Please make plans to attend if you have questions or concerns regarding the spring flood situation. We can schedule additional meetings if necessary.
